Biography: Vince Zubras

Vince Zubras

is a veteran senior Texas law enforcement officer with over three decades of county and municipal police experience, particularly as a county Deputy Constable. Professionally, he is a senior Texas Deputy Constable (currently of Denton County Precinct Two Constable’s Office) and a small business owner of two businesses: Texas Court Process Service (as a degreed contract Paralegal and Litigation Assistant) and Ear Blok Hearing Protection and Audiometric Consulting (as an audiometric sound/hearing technician and consultant.)

Vince has been actively involved in Republican Party politics previously in both Dallas County and at the District and State Convention levels, since 1980. He was a multi-year Precinct Chair and active former District 16 delegate at both District and State Conventions for several years as well. He has been politically active in Rockwall County since 2008, working in various electoral candidate campaigns and with the Rockwall County Republican Men’s Club, moving to Rockwall in Summer 2010.

He is an active Life Member of both the North Texas (regional) and the Texas (State) Justice of the Peace and Constable’s Associations, and a member of the Texas Municipal Police Association, the International Association of Crime Analysts, and the International Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysts.

Education

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of North Texas-Denton (2004), with graduate Master’s Degree classes in Criminal Justice (UNT-2005) and current plans to complete his Master’s Degree from Sam Houston State University-Huntsville in the Criminal Justice- Management and Leadership degree plan program. He is also a veteran law enforcement academy instructor and holder of multiple law enforcement service and specialty certifications.

Volunteer

Vince held the position of Law Enforcement Committee chairman on the 2011 Rockwall Five-Year Strategic Planning Committee. He is also the founder and immediate past senior administrator of the North American branch of the Christian charitable organization, OPCCTS- Knights Templar of North America, and has been a volunteer for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation- North Texas Chapter since the mid-1980’s.

Family

Vince’s daughter Eva Cannon and her family: husband Cory, sons Gage and Caden, and daughter Rhyan are long-time Rockwall residents.
