ARE YOU AN “EDUCATED” VOTER?
Think about it….
In the Republican Party’s upcoming March 7, 2006 Republican Primary Election, exactly how much do you really know about the Candidates running for the various elected Offices? Do YOU take the time necessary to educate yourself about those Candidates asking for your treasured vote?
If your answers to the above questions, in order, are “very little” and “no” (or ‘not really’), YOU might need to reevaluate your process of choosing the right Candidate in a contested race. As a general rule, Republican voters do take this time, but not always!
In unfortunate reality, Primaries are more often just simple popularity contests,and to see “who is endorsing whom,” than they are to consider the qualifications and abilities of a particular Candidate to competently administer the Office they are going to run with YOUR tax dollars!!
In this upcoming March 7 Republican Primary 2006 Constable’s race in Dallas County Precinct Three, the incumbent Constable is retiring and leaving his Office at the end of his term. This is now an “open seat” for election. There are FOUR--- yes, FOUR—candidates vying for YOUR PRIMARY ELECTION VOTE for this Office in the upcoming March Primaries. Here’s a little education for you, as a stalwart Republican voter and/or Republican Party Leader in DallasCounty:
POINT ONE: How many of the Candidates in this race have 29 years of multi-agency experience, are multiple-degreed, MASTER Texas Peace Officers with dual Law Enforcement Instructor certificates, AND HAVE A NEW RESTRUCTURING MANAGEMENT PLAN TO ADMINISTER THIS OFFICE WITH COST-CUTTING REPUBLICAN IDEALS? … ONE--VINCE ZUBRAS— Click on “Master Plan” button at left to read about it!!
POINT TWO:True-- all four candidates are Law Enforcement Officers—and a LOT of “regular citizens” put their trust into law enforcement officers believing that one credential automatically qualifies them to administer a major Law Enforcement Office.
BUT-- that ONE factor alone does NOT mean someone can competently and effectively administer one of YOUR major Dallas County Law Enforcement Offices! Who amongst these Candidates has the distinct combination of academic credentials (Degrees), training, AND leadership experience in both Law and Management to do this? ONE!! VINCE ZUBRAS
POINT THREE: TWO of the FOUR Candidates are DallasCounty Republican Party active members who have worked hard in and for the Party. Both have worked for various Republican elected Officials, yet only ONE for the Party itself throughout the past years, between election years. Who is the only ONE of these Candidates who has worked hard for the Party in this capacity and“paid his dues” for over 25 years? VINCE ZUBRAS
(The other two candidates are “first timers” and have NO PREVIOUS REPUBLICAN PARTY “credentials” or track record of ever having worked for the Party, especially between election periods. They have NO record of being Republican Club members or working for the Party-- and yet, they now come forward and ask for YOUR vote for them as an unknown, unproven entity??!!)
